No paper of any sort, books, magazines, newspapers, it's a security risk. unless management decides to flood the center with OT sign-ups sheets or other such bs.

Holiday Bonus?
Dec 17, 2010, 6:37 PM

We used to get a food basket, turkey, potatoes, oranges and stuffing in a reusable holiday bag from the company every year. Then it was a gift card, then a christmas card. Last year nothing, this year nothing. How about the rest of you? $$, food, card?

if you decide to stay, and you usually get a tax refund (if you have dependants and qualify for EIC) file exempt next year. Pay sucks ABC (Agents Barely Compensated) might as well hang on to your $$ instead of giving it to the government.

I get this a lot too. Customers are too lazy to look the info up online. (and too cheap, the 2700 is free, iden units are not) Reps are not very knowledgeable due to high turn-over and impossible metrics.

I had that call last week...acct holder for 7 years, 25% corporate discount, asked for ugrade fee to be credited, no I cant do it, asked for a sup, sup said no cant do it, call was sent to escalations, nope cant do it. I'd be happy if customers were just told about the fee when purchasing in a store.

yes I had a guy call in from a store trying to setup a new account, he was using a slightly different name and a different ss# from a previous acct with an outstanding balance on it. Same billing address. I made him pay off the account. Then he didnt have the money for the deposit on the new acct!

very hard to make anything above minimum wage since the March 6th ABC Matrix went into effect anyway. The only way to make good $ is with sales!

You forgot where you work, acs, always changing something. :D It is not hard to get 100% VP. If you are not able to do so and disagree with your sites current process to bring it up, quit.

Re: WHY CANT WE ALL GET ALONG???

I actually enjoy calls from store employees, as long as it is to assist the customer (and not the software they are using that I have no clue about, call dealer support!) However just because a person works in a call center does not mean they are being paid an hourly wage. The call center I work in we are paid per call and sales.

ABC - activity based compensation, goals have been going up every month, lower handle time, higher issue resolution - wonder what it will be 6 months from now? work harder, faster & cheaper!!!! CEO's need the $$.

Yes it does feel like the screws are being constantly tightened down. We are paid per call, a sliding rate based on call surveys. The "goal" has increased every month. Where will it stop? When we are all making less than minimum wage? (pay is subsidized at that point) 7 years of experience supporting the cellular client, made minimum wage on my last paycheck. Oh but I have a job :D

You can not request to be put on the Account Spending Limit program. It is based entirely on credit score.

Re: one call...

not really commission, our hourly wage is based on a pay per call rate that is determined by the grade we receive according to the sprint customer satisfaction survey, a no survey drops the rate per call, average is $1.50 per call, if an agent drops below minimum wage during the pay period then pay is subsidized, usually with our own holiday or pto :(
