lol...yeah I remember those ads. AT&T got so butthurt over those ads they hired Luke Wilson. but really Verizon was full of it. Their 3G network was nothing to brag about. In most places during the roll out it was barely faster than Edge.

I'm not sure about their new commerical but they got around that with the old one it had a tiny disclaimer at the bottom that said "Competitors maps from 01/13" While Verizon's maps were their updated ones. And this was during the holiday season that I saw that.

It's a dumb saying for sure but all that garbage from the new star trek movie is all false. It not a saying that was coined by an Arabian Prince, especially that one that didn't lose his head by his best friend.

That's not a shocker though. T-mobile has always and will probably always be less than AT&T. They charge less per month not because they're some unsung hero for the consumer...but because they can't. If AT&T and T-mobile cost the same per month, then nobody would be with T-mobile because their coverage isn't as good. (I'm not saying it's garbage coverage btw, they are doing a good job of increasing their nationwide footprint...but they're still not as big ...

Google refuses to let microsoft make a youtube app for their phones. They were okay with Apple having an app, but microsoft was forced to make an app that redirects you to the mobile verison of Mainly because of Bing. That's one case of something falling under the antitrust laws, but google is a big company. I'd much rather see that problem corrected than have google broken up.

I honestly doubt that would happen. Verizon has more of an incentive to roll LTE out everywhere as fast as possible. (simply due to the fact that their 3G network is pretty awful). AT&T has HSPA+ in a lot of places, and while we can argue endlessly on if it's 4G or not, it's a whoooooole lot faster than Verizon's fall back. Soooo I don't see AT&T aggressively going after LTE beyond major cities, like Verizon needs ...

I think the verdict in the trial is bad for several reasons. Mostly because this gives Apple justification to continue these lawsuits. We needed a verdict that honestly flat out denied both parties any claims to money. Basically we needed to shut Apple up. That didn't happen. Back in 2007, Apple did the tech world a solid and released an amazing device, but it was a device far from original. They basically took the time to ...

I think he was also coming from the point of "There is only so much spectrum to use, and the more players there are the more we've gotta share, thus the less overall bandwidth we'll have." I understand what they meant by it. And he's not wrong, it is TRUE, but.... they don't HAVE to raise their pricing.
