Ironically enough, having AT&T enter the Mexican comms market is a nice change from the Telmex monopoly 🤣
...
But I don't hear anyone complaining about the fact until recently, at&t was the only fully American owned telcom in the country, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint all being fully or partially foreign owned. Even Tracfone isn't actually an American company...

2: exclusive possession or control
3: a commodity controlled by one party
4: one that has a monopoly
