Question for corp store reps, best buy reps, and/or radioshack reps
I am interested in entering into the cell phone industry. Preferably in the sales aspect. I was wondering on average what is the base pay for reps at corporate stores, best buys, and also radioshack. Also, how does the commision work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really cannot believe that you would be asking one of the Big 4 companies to give you unlimited everything for $69.99. I understand you want to save where you can. In all reality $69.99 for unlimited text, unlimited data, 450 minutes to landlines or businesses, and unlimited calling to all cell phones just listen to that plan. Personally I like the BB 8530. I have been using it for approx 2 months. I guess it depends on what you are using it for. I use facebook,I dowloaded about 15 apps thru the bb app world, I do email *2 accounts, alot of texts, and minimal calling. For what I use it for and for the price best buy was offering the phone for I would def give it a 9.5/10 I say go for it!!!

If this is really a sprint customer on this post than I feel bad for the reps that get her. She will be shut down soon I am sure of it and when she is she will be cancelled and hope she has fun paying the ETF. I am sure her account is thoroughly notated about how big of a pest she is. RIDICULOUS.

I was with TMobile for my two year contract and I must say they gave me a real run for my money. Where do I start: the fact that I broke my HD2 and bought a prepaid phone to use temporarily and still had to pay for internet, the fact that when you change your plan you extend your contract, or maybe the fact that you have to pay monthly to get a paper bill. It is really sad to see who responds to these posts. In all reality if you guys have not figured this out yet store reps/ customer care representatives...etc. You are getting paid from people like myself paying our bill monthly. If you guys agree with policy so be it however at times policy must flex in order to retain the customers that you already have. If you haven't figured this out then your jobs will not last long.

Then I called back and spoke with another representative about how much the internet would cost for the hd2. I have called tmobile for the last month (approx 5 times). I am experiencing dropped calls and sometimes getting call failed. I have been transferred from person to person. I was just wondering other people's opinions especially those of you who work in the cellular business.....Why do customers seem to gripe and complain that they are with AT&T and they wish they were with Tmobile, Verizon, so on so forth? What is so funny to me is they will be the same ones 3,4,5 years down the line that go to another company and complain, complain, complain wishing they would have never switched.
