Nope not a sprint fan boy, but I sure have raised the ire of you derizon fans. All of you derizon marks must have guilty consciences. You keep coming into the Sprint/NEXTEL forum to see whats going on. Are we just a little bit paranoid that someone might just tell everyone about the LIES, ah, er Marketing that Derizon is doing. Doormat, I wouldn't know about my companies policies, since my company has nothing to do with selling cell phones. (I'm not in the business, just a consumer that does not like being lied to, as Derizon does.) I just happen to agree with Cellphonesaretools that Derizon does a great job of Marketing (read Lying) about what they think they can do, but in reality don't, won't or can't do.

There is only one problem you only posted half of what I actually said. Now your acting like the Liers at Verizon. What I said was that he told me that Sprint would be bankrupt in one year and here we are 1 and a half year later and Sprint is still here and he is not. He decided that it was better to be dead then be wrong.

Well Said. AMEN. I don't need a new phone every week. I want Reliable Rugged Phones that Are Fast and Dependable and a System that works during a crisis. NEXTEL WORKS. Actually, Yes, I do both. As a shift 14/14 worker in the GOM. I do both. There are other jobs out there that have nothing to do with selling cell phones. 14 in the GOM and 14 on land, offers a ton of opportunities.

Actually Good Try but none of the communications companies could afford my salary. I actually work for a major Oil Company. And no I have no affiliation with Sprint but thats a good try. However, when I want to get my job done with the BIG OIL I use Direct Connect from NEXTEL!!! As far as sales go I have forgotten more about Sales then you will ever learn. But you must work for Derizon.

So by your own admission two things are happening. Verizon is losing money. And secondly their sales reps don't know what they are doing because they are giving the customers the wrong phone and or the wrong data package. Thats good to know. I'll stay away. Thanks for the admission of guilt.

Well here we are in the midst of another hurricane down in the gulf coast area. And what do you know. My Nextel Phone never failed me. My family is now on Sprint and lo and behold their phones are working fine, with no loss of cellular service even though we have evacuated. However, the same can't be said for AT&T and Verizon. Sounds like someone really does not have a Clue. Nextel was the ONLY carrier that worked after Katrina. It is because of this that I will keep my Nextel with Direct Connect as long as possible.
