Re: flash force fury
Lol oh please like anybody is buying these ZTE phones, let alone Sprint ones. I'd be surprised if these three devices combined have sold more than a million
Re: The outsider coming in effect.
That's also why tmibiles new plans have virtually no overages. Besides calling in to complain about coverage I'm sure bitching about going over minutes is the most common. This saves the company credits and the eventual need for more customer service agents.
I smell another layoff in a few months. Oh wait I lied, since tmobile already outsources a lot of their agents.
Re: The outsider coming in effect.
Carly was one of the employees let go too
this company keeps on trimming payroll - customer service, national retail, corporate stores disappearing in exchange for TPRs, more and more part-time employees inside corporate stores. i guess they have to make it up somewhere with money shelled out to iphone, LTE, and cheaper plans
Re: CDMA/GSM
probably has to do with how easy it is to activate with sprint (lower deposits) and thus turning around and selling the device for profit overseas.
Re: Thanks
I agree with you. Nothing flashy
Re: Nothing New
i would assume there are a lot of other people like myself who stream pandora on my phone via wifi.
good thing there are other alternatives out there. pandora, spotify, songza, slacker. guess my phone will have all 4 to rotate through weekly .. :-/
Re: Not good news, but good to know...
Oh like it's all sprints fault they have to move off iden and it's all sprints fault they can't get Motorola I'm board to make a CDMA ptt phone? Lol
Re: Why the Calendar?
The way I'm reading it, this will only affect Google Calendar Sync for Outlook on a computer starting today:
Google Calendar Sync: The Google Calendar Sync download link will be removed on December 14, 2012. Existing users can continue to use it to sync with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, but it will no longer be supported by Google as of December 14, 2012.
Re: What happens to National Retail?
For Tmobile it would be extremely bad for T-Moble's bottom line to lose national retail. They sell a lot of phones and drive new customers. But of course as a sales rep at Tmobile you don't care
What happens to National Retail?
Since it's value plan only, what happens to stores like Best Buy, Walmart and Costco since they can't do value plans??
Wish they'd release a time table
that makes 2.5 official cities yeah? i thought NY, LA, SF and Seattle were next? Hurry up already
Re: nice
you mean.. windows phones? winmo has been dead for a while son
BATMAN PHONE!
Batman phone is all i have to say.
Got to play with the dummy mock up display recently, and it was impossible to hold with my hand and move around like the review says. I thought I was going to get a cramp.
The thing is ugly to look at too. At least the Note looks somewhat pleasing.
Sprint sure loves their slide out keyboards
Re: It's Hideous!
it's a square looking phone. weird. and ugly
Re: Sadly
Doesn't everything suck for tmobile customers??
i feel sorry for -
i feel sorry for people who foot the bill for their parents, relatives, grand parents, children getting their first phones.
$30 to add a line on a basic phone? what's the point? pre-paid is going to have a big explosion again. $100 for 1000 minutes is looking like a bargain more and more everyday for the older generation.
Re: Is Sprint really in a position to afford something like this?
i don't tthink they have much of a choice. the everything messaging plan was falsely advertised anyways. it charged casual data charges for a lot of their customers.
Re: Still cannot see
This is why I will never resign a contract with sprint or any other company. Paying $50 on Sero is more than enough. If my work did not reimburse me for a phone I would look into prepaid for my next phone.
Re: Now what will the drug dealers and pimps do?
Purchase Motorola walkie talkies obviously ...
Sign of Tmob Getting iPhone?
maybe tmobile/apple is preparing for iPhone 5 when it launches?
Sprint again?
I swear Sprint sells their network to anybody that's willing to use it. It's the same plan essentially $80 for unlimited text and data and 600 minutes but the phone is $50 cheaper and uses the same network as Sprint? what is wrong with this picture? I wonder if this counts as part of the committment that Sprint would sell X amount of iphones in 5 years?
Re: WoW a phone with an ACTUAL keyboard!!!
can't believe companies are still charging money for feature phones. $80 and then $50 rebate? eep!
Re: What it really proves...
lol hold on. not sure if i follow your train of thought sprint guy. this is an upgrade fee. typically when people upgrade, their contracts are out. so what termination fee are you talking?
and as far as a "special treatment" there are always promotions to draw in new customers. in all honesty, new customers get better treatment than existing customers. so enough of your jargon that sprint has trained you on. they used to do the same to ...
Re: NextMail
lol thanks for totally not responding to the question
Re: The is Why
don't forget the $10 for smartphone too. i mean who'd want to use a feature phone if you got all that for $19.99?
Re: Not Dual Core
sounds more like an upgrade from the Hero. Which begs to me ask why? The EVO 4G is End of Life (or about to) which leaves customers to choose the 3D as the higher end HTC android, but not really?
only on nexus S .. on Sprint
so basically only about 5000 people can access it and only 5 people know about it? /sarcasm
but seriously why only one device and one carrier? and of all the devices and carrier combinations, why that?
why?
sprint nav/telenav vs google nav .. i don't get why sprint continues to even support this on their android devices when google nav is available.
1 year?
4 years i worked at sprint 06-10 and i've maybe done two or three 1-year contracts so this isn't anything shocking. we're all reading too much into this
Is 64GB even necesary?
As far as a mobile phone device goes, isn't that just a tad bit.. overkill? for my own usage, an 8GB ipod is already too much because all i do is skip songs it feels like. Movies? forget about it on a phone. Somebody needs to work on improving battery performance first.
Re: probably still
At least the FB app on Android doesn't take 30 seconds to load. The worse by far is Windows Phone. That was a POS of an app if I ever saw one.
same thing this year
Didn't they do the same thing for their at-risk customers a month before Verizon launched the iPhone in February?
Still nobody wants it
I remember being in the retail stores and WP7 was bashed. Then MS kept assuring us "wait for mango, wait for mango" Well, mango is here, and people still won't sell this thing. WP is just missing "it" - there's no buzz, no excitement, NO WOW FACTOR.
Re: Why is it when...
How long ago did Nextel and Sprint merge? 5 years now right? And they're still talking about getting the PTT technology compatible. Again. Sprint make up your mind. We went from Nextel and Sprint separate. Then attempted to join with Hybrid and it's 4 phones. Then you decided to throw in QChat with it's 5 phones. And then you decided to keep them completely separate again and push with more traditional iDEN devices. And now you're back trying to ...
could the reviewer be any more biased or misinformed?
i can't believe it was compared to the iPhone and G1, not once, but twice. that's like comparing a ford focus with a lexus. pfft.
9.99 for Sprint Navigation, yes if you have a basic data plan. Oh i'm sorry Mr. Reviewer but I forgot that you GET TO PICK YOUR ADD ONS A LA CARTE with Sprint unlike the G1 and iPhone.
you griped about the music player twice. i got it the first time, you don't like the ...
waste of space
really sprint/lg? a rumor 2? why even waste time and money putting this out? it's not like sprint is out of the original rumors due to high sales. but it's been an after thought since the rant. at least the sanyo 2700 will be the same $30 price when it launches. and no video??? really?? ugh
WOW REALLY?!
How kind of ATNT to offer free wi-fi services to people that own Blackberries and iPhone BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A DATA PLAN.
Isn't that pretty much admitting that the data network on ATNT is not reliable?
phone scoop hates sprint?
come on think about it.. tmobile? google would avoid them purely for their data network.
