this phone is amazing

Aug 15, 2006 by dee27

i think this is an awesome phone, my friend has one, and i just ordered one for myself, i like how the keypad can turn for the camera, and then turn again for the media buttons, i think this is one of the best all around phones that nokia has made right now, other then the nokia n93. good job nokia, good job.

Music phones at their best

May 15, 2006 by Orr04

I wanted a phone to replace my ipod video as i dont like carrying them both in my pockets. I saw this phone labeled as a music phone and when i saw it available in pink and with this nice rotating camera i knew it would turn heads so i chose this over the samsung i300. The samsung has windows and a 3 gig hard drive, but it isnt anything special in the looks department and looks are very impotant to me in a phone. I am very very pleased with this phone and at 350 on importgsm.com with a 512mb sd its a steal.

-FM Radio- very good reception and nice to listen to when your tired of your mp3's.
-Symbian 0S- this new symbian Os is not only beautiful looking but also runs fast and smooth
-Service- i am running mine on cingular and it gets surprisingly good service, even for a tri-band phone. it gets better service than my v3 if you can belive it.
- Bluetooth- this can play music on my bluetooth headset if you can belive it. Ive never seen that before and although its not the best quality it is still nice. (im also planning on recording answers to tests on the voice recorder and playing them over the headset during school. with my long hair and a hoodie, i have a feeling it will work well)
- Apps- this phone comes with many cool apps and just has lots of stuff on it to play with like a sound measurer to measure how loud the room is and a lot of other interesting and random stuff.
- did i mention that this thing is beautiful? not only the outside but the screen is so colorful and the music player looks so nice and appealing.
- music player- works very well, accepts all my file types and resembles the apple ipod setup with playlists, artists, songs and all that jive.

-Camera- the 2 megapixel camera isnt bad but with only 4x digital dont plan on sniping anyone from a distance

- No 3.5mm jack- i can only use my nice sony in ear headphones with the included adapter which is a nuisance to carry around.

Great phone

Aug 25, 2006 by katrina

I have been using this phone with my T-Mobile SIM for a couple months now.

1) Decent quality speaker for playing music
2) Supports playing music through Bluetooth headsets! (this is a big one!)
3) Great reception (it is a nokia after all)
4) MMS/Internet setup was automatic... even when I switched to my SunCom SIM card, it changed the MMS/Internet setting automatically :-)
5) decent battery life depending on usage habits
6) Micro SD card slot
7) People are always "wow! what phone is that!" when I take it out.

1) Kinda big and bulky
2) Music effects (like the 3d sound and reverb) are really bad
3) Camera is not as good as I had expected, but still not bad
4) only QCIF resolution video capture
5) options for SIP, but no SIP client. (if you don't know what this is, it's not a Con for you)
6) Hmmm... thats about it I guess!
