Inside Screen Breaks
My Son-in-law and I both have the strobe and Loved them for the first 2 months until the inside screen cracked and now we can't see anything. On would think that the outside screen would be more likely to break. I'll post again after dealing with my provider/Kyocera

Hey! Ive been wanting this phone for as long as i can ever imagine and now i have it! Ive had this phone ever since it came out and i love it! Im not going to make this a loong and tiring review so all i am going to say is that-- it IS worth buying. I would NOT recommend this phone to guys and ages 25 and up. This is more like a fun-teeny phone. This would not be considered as a "business" phone. Its great for the young ones and they will love it!!
pretty sweet phone
The phone is pretty sweet. I have metro pcs and so far it has really good reception ring tones are ok not the best tho. It has the keyboard which is very helpful if you text alot and the internal screen is pretty big, the external screen is fairly small so you will be opening the phone alot. the keyboard keys are kinda small so if you have big fingers it will be tough to text with but if you have smaller or average fingers it is awesome and easy and alot faster than ABC or t9word texting like on a regular phone

all in all this is a great phone for someone who texts alot and wants a stylish phone.good price, not very expensive deff. recommend it.
Great Little phone
I live in Miami and use metro pcs and i am a phone freak when it comes to new phones and everytime there is a new one on the line, of course it is mine but hesitated a bit when it came to the strobe cause i thought it was too small for a guy but actually after lots of thought, i finally bought it and love it. it looks cool because its different, love using the keyboard becasue it makes it very easy just like typing a letter. it really stands out as a cool looking phone....overall love it....only one thing.....becasue of its odd shape...it can be very hard to find a carrying case for it, so i found one case actually used for blackberry's and other pdas, but it does the job.....Good job Kyocera...love my new phone!
i luv this phone!!!
my aunt was in town and bought me this phone. it is virgin mobile. i luuuuuvvvv it!!!!! it has a really cute curvy look, and i love the fact that it has the keyboard. its fun to show off, and i can go on the internet, aim, text, blah blah blah. i use the calendar thingy alot, and i use the text messanging thingy to take notes in class sometimes. i also text in class. shhh dont tell. anyway, this is an awsome fone for those who are text-looney.
SaWEET phone!
This phone in awesome!! I have the Switch_Back with Virgin Mobile service, and the service is great. Before this phone i had the oystr. It got service alot of places but the new building at my school. Which is where all of my classes are. But anyway, the service is amazing. i luv in Baltimore,Md and its just amazing. seriously. The keys are a bit small but who cares! its awesome!. The camera is great, the ring-tones are real Mp3. The ringtones are loud and clear. The UI is pretty fast. The external screen is kinda desaturated, but makes up for it in the internal screen. My friend has a Audiovox 8940? the one with the 1.3 mp camera, and by looking at them they look like exactly the same. It doesn't look VGA like it says it is. I'm guessing its either 1.3mp or 1. something.
Good Phone Some Flaws
This is a good phone if you are going to use it for texting but if you buy it for the camera get a different phone. I have had the alltel version for a few months and it has fallen on the ground and not broken it is a stirty little phone. When you buy the phone most people look at it before they buy it then they know how big the screen is and the buttons. I don't mind the small buttons on the screen because I saw the phone before I bought it. It is a great little phone but not everyone thinks so.
Worse than expected!
This phone I thought was going to be great, but i was wrong! This is such a crappy feature lacking phone! I thought that the first qwerty phone for alltel would be amazing! It had a full keyboard, camera, and looked kinda cool! I was so wrong! The keys a re way to small, the screens are way to small, and there is nothing cool about the menu or anything. The front dialing keys do not line up so you have to dial while looking at the phone! Bluetooth=crap! This phone is a huge disapointment! Oh and the ringtones are horrid!
A nice phone for a great price.
I just purchase the phone from Metro pcs. I paid 179.00 for it. I think is a great price for what you are getting. I have had the sidekick and the only difference I see is the price and size. Even though the keyboard is small, the letters are spaced enough where you don't have a problem. I don't do a lot of texting but we are schedule to go on the web soon so the phone will come in real handy then. The picture quality is fair but I have seen worse. I love the fact that you can do a lot of things on the front of the phone as well as inside the phone. The speaker is great I have been told that you can't tell the difference when I am talking on the phone the regular why or on the speaker. I love the bluetooth option that I am told Verizon doesn't have. It works great with my bluetooth. I am truly enjoying my phone. I feel like people who want other features like mp3 or video should look into another phone but if you don't need these features than this is a great phone without paying an arm and a leg.
Pros: Great price, Nice wallpaper and screensaver, Nice size, Great design it looks like an old fashion radio, the keyboard makes it a very handy phone.
Cons: Can't hear downloaded ringtones through bluetooth. Sound is a little low.
