Great Phone!

Feb 10, 2018 by WKG   updated Feb 10, 2018

Carrier: Verizon

It was time to replace my old HTC One M8.

I've had several Motorola phones in the past and have always appreciated the reception and sound quality as I am looking for a phone first and foremost. The Z2 Force doesn't disappoint in that regard as it has great reception and is clear with plenty of volume on the Verizon network from Chicago down through the Gulf coast.

Despite it's thin form the phone is solid and well built and even though it's 6.13 X 2.99 inches it slips fine into the front pocket on a pair of jeans.

Responsiveness is super fast and the screes quality is excellent. The fingerprint reader can also function as a navigation center so screen space is maximized even with the bezels on the top and bottom. One of the first things I did was put a glass screen protector on it (I do that with every phone) It looks as perfect now as the day I bought it so I can't comment on durability with out it.

I picked up the Projector Mod on a Verizon package and it's one of the coolest gadgets for a phone. You can watch Netflix, photos or browse the web on the wall or ceiling and the quality is surprisingly good.

Battery life is fine, I can get through an entire day of pretty heavy usage and still have 40% left. If you do run short it recharges quick

Pros:

Great reception/sound quality
Solid build quality/hardware
Screen quality
Handset speed
Form factor

Cons:

Mods can be expensive
No headphone jack
