Great Phone.......

Jul 7, 2004 by alpha

I think this is by far the best phone VZW has carried.

Pros:
-Great resolution (inside screen)
-Better features than the a670
-Great voice dial recognition
-Great sound quality
-Good reception
-Cool Tricolor LED (FLASH ALSO)
-Pic and video quality much better than a670
-Dosent heat up after long use like most samsungs
-Good battery life

Cons:
-NO SPEAKERPHONE
-External display resolution could be better
-STUB antenna
-Lack of Standard ringtones (not a big issue though)
-Lack of GUI custamization

This phone could have got 5/5 if it had speakerphone and a better out display resolution. I would highly recommended for upgraders and new customers.

LG7000...now that's what's up!

This is a nice phone! I get a lot of compliments from the ladies about the color, and they say, "it's so big though!" I tell them thank you, but I'm married. "The phone, stupid," they reply. It's sleek, not gaudy. Reception is phenomenal, and the call clarity is awesome.

No complaints because newer phones with all the features I could ever want are right around the corner. all I gotta do is wait 10 more months before I can snag one. who knows what will be out then!

Phone is good, not great

Jul 11, 2004 by anotherphoneguy

Been playing around with it for the better part of two days now and am ready to post a review. Bottom line: this is a solid phone and the best phone available to Verizon customers out there. I would give it 5 of 5 if the flash was adjustable, you could preview the photos from the outside, and it had a speakerphone.

Pros:
Nice contact system.
Loud rings and volume.
Nice graphics and intuitive menu systems.
Good reception everywhere I've gone.
People I'm callng sometimes can't tell I'm on a wireless phone vs. a landline.

Cons:
No speakerphone.
Battery tends to die pretty quick (about 3 hours)
No data cable, charger, or anything else included.
Can't preview photos from the outside screen.
Flash is very bright.
No trimode.
Standard rings are passable at best.
No games come loaded -- these cost $5 - $10 for unlimited use.
Belt clip feels very cheap.
Verizon sells very expensive accessories (this is true of all Verizon accessories -- don't EVER buy accessories from them. Go online or Ebay.)

Great Phone!

Had the phone since July 1, and I am very impressed with the quality.
Pros
Fantastic RF,loud ringers, great intuitive menus, phone book entry method, swivel camera, video messaging, WAP 2.0
Cons
No speaker phone, No trimode

I will not be trading this for the V710. Unless the V710 is a lot better than what has been reported so far, my next phone will be the VX8000.

Way better than Moto V710

I own this phone for already 4 days and I love it, love it, and love it. It's so perfect. I don't even wanna start listing its pro's because there are so many and maybe 1 or 2 con's. Guys, for those who still can't decide which phone to get V710 or VX7000, you better not go with Motorola. I had a chance to play and own the V710 for 2 days, and it's not worth anything that is happening around it. So much hype. Motorola has always been disappointing me, and I will NOT give it another chance because I do NOT want to waste my money. Neither do all of you. Go with LG! It's getting better and better with every version.

Decent Phone

I have had this phone since May 25th 2005, and Overall it has been a sturdy, reliable phone for me.

Pros -
- Fun Video Capturing
- Great pictures
- Durable body
- Bright colored screen and functions
- Awesome Disco lights on the front when
receiving calls.
- Great Sound Quality
- Good Reception (For me at-least)

Cons -
- Pictures Disappear in the gallery for some reason
- No Speaker Phone

-- Every phone has its flaws, but by far this has been the best phone I have ever owned, and will continue to purchase LG products. Also, I am amazed with how much this phone can take in abuse. I have dropped this phone countless times. Sadly to say It is being held together at the bottom with Scotch Tape due to one to many falls. --- And Amazingly it still works!!! I will be sad when I retire this phone when my contract goes out in March, but it has had a phenomenal run in its life!! I love you LG VX7000! Rest In Peace!!

cool phone

this is a really good phone. it was easy to set up. i like how the camera can rotate. this phone is definitely an improvement from the samsung i had. what i don`t like is that you have to pay even before you download something like a ringtone. another thing that i don`t like is that i can`t really hang charms from it so easily. despite those 2 cons, i like the phone. it`s a good buy if my cons aren`t a concern for you.

Great Phone

This is a very good phone and I'm glad I decide to get this one rather than waiting for the V710. I have used LG before and have been very pleased with the equipment. I have used Motorola before and the phones just haven't been working for me performance wise. I had one that I consider the best phone I ever had and that was the Moto. V8160..but ever since that phone I've been using LG. The only con I have with the phone is picture quality, lack of speaker phone, and bluetooth. I highly recommend this phone as I have tried several on the market recently.

LG is the best brand!
