Amazing Voice/Call Quality

Dec 4, 2012 by Heretic   updated Jan 18, 2013

I've had this phone for just two days, and the countless rave reviews i read about it's voice/call quality are right on.

Talk about hearing and being heard clearly!

By the way, the phone's other functions don't mean squat to me. So i have no cons.

Update: I found 1 con. When sorting contacts into specific groups, there's no "business" group.

Pretty solid... minimal complaints.

I've been using the HTC Incredible 4G LTE on Verizon for a little bit now. It fits the bill nicely. The handset feels solid. No creeks or design issues. The back of the phone is a textured plastic, so it at least provides a sense of grip as you hold the phone. The phone feels (width-wise) a bit thinner/taller than other phones I've used, such as the LG Optimus T and the Samsung Galaxy Blaze. I personally am growing to like that aspect of it.

- Screen can get very bright, making it somewhat decent to use outside.
- Very fast. I've witnessed no lagging with the phone as of yet.
- Call quality is decent.
- Volume levels are decent.
- Android 4.0. What's not to love?
- Camera takes good shots.
- Signal strength is very good.
- Web browsing on it is very fast.
- Screen colors are decent and appear accurate to the naked eye in comparison to other devices... not over saturated as if you're having a bad trip at the Willy Wonka factory.
- Minimal wasted space around screen.

Middle of the road:
- Battery life isn't spectacular, but not exactly terrible. With that said, it's pretty common among pretty much all 4G phones that I've seen.

- Verizon's level of useless bloatware is inexcusable, however if you can manage to ignore these apps (or root it and uninstall them yourself), you'll be golden.
- The charging port is on the left side towards the bottom, which took a little finagling to get seated properly while charging in my car cradle, but I was able to adjust it and work around it fine. Figured it was worth mentioning so users are aware.
- It's be nice if it came with JB instead of ICS, but I'm sure that's just an update away.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this phone and I would recommend it to others. What cons I have are very few and very minimal. It's a 4" workhorse Android phone, which is perfect if you want a solid phone with a comfortably sized screen.
