BlackBerry Curve 9360
After having owned a few Curves I was happy to see that RIM was coming out with the Curve 9360. At first I was blown away by the thin and sexiness of this phone, but after that wore off, some issues began to surface. The keyboard makes a "creaking" sound when I type. Its annoying and loud enough for someone sitting next to me to hear. Also, the plastics are better quality than the previous Curves, but it still feels like it is missing that extra touch. The camera is amazing and when you take off the preview setting, you can almost take pictures at rapid fire mode. The browser is an improvement, but still lacks. Battery life was ok, but could have been better. The new processor is good, but the phone seems to lag at times even with this improvement. Overall a good starter phone, but not a phone to compare against Droids and the I Phone....unfortunately. The overall UI experience is an improvement, but it lacks the definition and diversity of other OS phones.
Great camera w/ flash
Keys closer to the body
Faulty keyboard material
Apps- Very few in App World
Overall its missing something.
Unfortunately, after 3 years of BlackBerry, outages, lackluster quality and poor company management I am switching to Android. Good Luck RIM.
I got this phone when I took back the Torch.
Size and screen resolution is great.
Not slow or lagging. Better processor makes a HUGE difference compared to the Torch which was very SLOW.
Keypad is awesome. Compared to other Curves, the keypad makes it easier to type.
The battery life sucks! 1000mAh? C'mon! I use my phone as a landline and battery life is the deal breaker for me as I tend to be very demanding on the kind of phones I use. The reason why the phone's getting a very low rating.
It's perfect as a spare phone or backup but if using it as your main phone it sucks for battery life.
RIM should be considering a major revamp of their Blackberries if they want to keep me as a customer!
Best BlackBerry yet!
Pros: everything that die hard BB users love, including a better camera and an FM radio.
I can't wait to see what the next model has for us!. God bless.
