Best buy as far as 2-G phones are concerned!!

Aug 30, 2002 by Stephen Conard

I am in sales at RadioShack, and a few months ago, I purchased a Samsung A400. BIG MISTAKE. They discontinued that one for some apparently good reasons. The reception of that phone was terrible, at least where I am located. I figured I would try one of the only Sprint phones that we don't have any complaints on, and what a difference it has made!! LG has outdone themselves with the quality of reception in this one. It also has a good loud speaker for ringers, and a very strong vibrate mode as opposed to some models that you can hardly feel. If I had to complain, and only if I had to, I would complain that the speaker volume for the earpiece is not as strong as the Samsung. I think that anybody who purchases this one will be very happy with the service they get out of it.

My phone came in the mail today and I absolutely love it. It is so compact in size and the features are great. Reception, Signal Strength, Quality...... just everything is awesome. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for an excellent phone with superb features. You will definitely not be disappointed!!!!!

"No I will not make out with you!"

That's what I have to say to all the girls who see me carrying this phone around. Let me tell you, this phone is a CHICK MAGNET! When they see me with this phone, it's a battle to keep my pants ON. Not that I wear pants, mind you...But this phone is one fine piece of ace! As the number two salesman on the East Coast, I give it five pairs of pants out of five. Buy one from me today!

My first cell phone

I purchased this phone in 2003 from Sprint. It was a nice little phone, battery life was good, nice web browser.

Cons: No 2-way text messaging, monochrome screen, flimsy sidecaps.

Overall, a nice phone.

Electronic Paperweight

I have owned this phone for about a month now and Sprint must be losing their tail on "credit for dropped calls." It would probably work great if you have a cell tower mounted on your roof....so long as the tower isn't too tall. Not LG's greatest effort. Tiny display is very difficult to read. Ringer and vibrate alert are both excellent. Overall, it's a great looking paperweight.
