Good Basic Phone

Jan 28, 2010 by hdtravel

You can get this on Cricket PayGo Daily or Monthly plans or Monthly billed plans.

It is a good solid basic flip phone.

It does the trick. Decent voice quality. OK camera.

If you just want a basic phone at a cheap monthly price this phone and Cricket are for you.

No bells or whistles here. Just does the job.

Available online or at "big-box" retail stores.

Overal, a cool flip phone

Dec 8, 2009 by love2transfercustomers

I'd say this is a very good flip phone. I've had it for about a week, but so far, I like it. The ringers built in are loud, sound on the calls is also loud. I have this phone with Cricket, and I get good signal in the Phoenix area.

You can save an email addresses under the contacts, and easily send picture mail to another cell phone number, or that person's email address. I like the camera, but the quality of the pictures could be better. I set the quality to fine, and the pictures are still not as great as they should be. The phone has a smooth feel, nice weight. It also has widgets! never seen that on a basic flip phone before. There is a button you can press to get the calender, instead of going into the menu to find it.

It has great battery life. I went a day without charging it, and it didn't die as i used it. I was disappointed with the game option. There was only one, and it was a demo, and you can only play the demo once, then after that, you have to buy it.

The phone has all the basics, calender, calculator, tip calculator, timer, world clock, voice memo, etc. I was disappointed with the color options for the background of the screen. the background is black, which is easy on my eyes, but no option to make it more colorful. The screen could be bigger, but the same size screen as my other flip phones.

When I dial 411, the # I was looking for gets sent in a text to the phone. Very cool. The keyboard is flat, doesn't really bother me. I don't like how on the outside display, you can see the time, but only for a few seconds, then it goes black. You have to open it to see the time.

If you are looking for a cheap priced phone that is easy to use, and still has quality, I'd say get this one.

-camera phone

-great battery life

-loud sound

-clear calls (in my area)

-all the basics included

-quality of pictures not that great

-no color scheme options.
