Horrible Phone

Oct 3, 2008 by literacola

I purchased this phone because the screen on my mogul cracked and I needed something fast. This was the cheapest phone sprint had, and I can see why.

The features of the phone are fine, but the software is so buggy that the phone is almost useless. I text message a lot, and the text messaging on this phone is horrible. Every time you try to use a period at the end of a sentence in T9 mode, the phone freezes for a good 30 seconds and ends up with the number "1" at the end of your word instead of a period. Also, the web browser locks up whenever you load a webpage(mobile only pages).

I really wouldn't mind keeping this phone, even coming from a mogul, if it had a better browser and better text messaging. The phone lags more than windows mobile on my mogul ever did, and the phone is basically just a hassle to use on a daily basis. I really don't think I could recommend this phone to anyone.

I usually enjoy using samsungs lower end phones, but this one is just a failure.

if you tell your customers what type of phone it is, and give them the expectations of what the phone will do, then i am positive you will not have as many returns as you are posting? spend time with your customer, and they will be sure to come back to you

Great Basic Phone

Oct 2, 2008 by icsprint

This phone has basically replaced the LG lx160. It has a very nice design and we have had positive feedback on its reception. I personally think this is a great phone for $29.99 (after rebates) for customers that are needing a basic model.

M220 is ok

I've sold this phone just a few times. But after this phone was released I ended up doing numerous returns for this phone. The main complaint was the volume of the ringer being too soft. Or they end up exchanging it after realizing this is a basic phone. I personally think tbis is a good phone for the most basic user. But after getting a large amount of returns within the last few weeks, I'm already convinced that this phone is good for the much older consumer.
