It's Going Back!!
Picked the VX5400 up 5 days ago with my New Every 2; sales rep assured me this was "THE" phone to have since call clarity and reception are my main priority. Haven't even tried the camera or other gadgets since they don't matter much to me. I'm coming out of a Samsung A930 (a RAZR v3c before that) that never dropped a call and was crystal clear 90% of the time. The VX5400 is truly a "can you hear me now" phone. Constant hissing, about 1 of every 3-4 words is inaudible. If you like talking into a garbage can, it's for you! Really a shame as the keyboard is laid out nicely, battery life seems good, texting is simple, size is good. But a phone should be a phone, and call quality is WAY below any that of any phone I've ever had. Never had a LG before, never will have another. This one's going back this weekend for another Samsung..

We have a Motorola V265 and just test drove the LG VX5400 with Verizon. The battery life
is great. The sound quality is ok. No walkie -talkie type transmissions. But
the Reception is almost Nonexistant. Zero Zip Nada where the V265 does great. It hurts to go back to the old one but what is a cell phone for.
