cyalaters's review of the HTC Desire 510 (CDMA)

original version, submitted May 18, 2015, 11:51 PM:

huh 510

When I got this phone on a sale I thought it was a steal at $30 for black Friday. However depending on what you want will depend if you like a phone like this.

Pros.
Nice screen size 4.7 inches.

Great camera and video

Battery life is really good !

Screen displays are pretty good even for a pre-paid status

Light and slim, helps you to look good and not cheap.

Cons

Does not give you room for any of your apps, even if you have apps from the play store, after you update your core apps there is no way you can use the apps you paid for.

Volume, even though I can hear great while holding the device, using speaker phone, and Bluetooth I can barely hear the person I talk to.

No camera flash.

Overall

If you are not concerned with app availability on your phone, or a first time smart phone users. This phone is for you. As said before it all depends what you are looking for on a phone. If you want a basic smart phone for $35 this could be for you. If you want apps and use the ones you may have paid for, this phone may not be for you. I suggest looking at the "memory" stats line on the review pages hear, that way you will know if you are able to use apps from the Google play store.

As it says x amount of gb in the phone overall, But only 1gb to the user.

As it says 4gb of internal storage for the phone overall, But only 1gb to the user. So learn from me for apps you will need more than 1gb.
