LG VX-8600 / AX-8600
My First Impressions
Hi,
I activated the phone last night. Here is what I have done so far.
1-2 Charged the battery - activated phone
3. I had purchased a 1gig micro sd-card, which I then formatted in the phone Menu-settings-memory-card memory. I have relatively large fingers and it is hard putting the card into the phone and removing it.
4. Removed card and placed it in a 6 in 1 card reader and copied 6 .mp3 files to the my sounds folder. When placed in the phone only 3 were added (need to check if the file names are too long for the other 3 songs? Could that be it?).
5. Tested out the player - fine.
6. Set up my bluetooth - I have the moto H700. It paired right away and I made a quick call which sounded fine - speech recognition recognized the ...

4. Emailed a 1mb .mp3 file to my phone and set it as the ringer.
5. Plastice holder is scraping the top of the phone, will return holder and try to get another 8600 (still under 15 days), will use a pouch with belt clip.
5. Was told that when I use the bluetooth I sound as good as when I use the phone (even a bit better).
Still need to test speech recognition. I am liking the phone more and more.
