LG VX-8600 / AX-8600

Hey guys,
I just got my 8600. I started to text and the default setting is "Abc". I know you can change it to "Word", but after every text you send it reverts back to Abc. How do I select the Word program and keep it selected, im tired of having to do Options...Word...every time!

It feels a lot better in my hand and from the calls I have made so far it sounds a little better. For me the little things make the difference, The screen is a lot crisper and the phone itself has a lot more options...stupid stuff like the clocks and the Front and Main screen Wallpaper options. One big thing I like more is I no longer have to wait when I press the menu button. On my V3c, I would press menu or message, and wait a second, then it would pull up. The 8600 goes when I press the menu or any button. I have not put any music on it yet, since I do not have the cord (anyone know where I can get the cord that connect the 8600 to my computer?). Another cool feature I like about it (as is the same with other LG's) is the opti...

Nope, was not offered. Assumed it would be included...but the extras is where they get you. Does it require a subscription to VCast? I dont feel like shellin out the bucks for VCast so I can transfer songs from my computer to my phone...or will this be allowed with no subscription to VCast...

I won't have my new phone til Friday, and had asked the same thing earlier. I was told by someone that has the phone that you don't need to shell out the cash for the Music Essentials Kit. If your P/C has a memory card slot, you can just download the music from your PC to your card and then plug it into your phone and it works.

I do have a memory slot for an SD card, but not the micro SD. I have the normal SD slot for a Digi Cam, does the micro fit in there? It'd be like throwin a hot dog down a hallway... 🤣
