LG VX-8600 / AX-8600
CAN YOU READ INCOMING TEXTS ON FRONT SCREEN?
With previous LG models the front buttons gave you the ability to read incoming texts without ever opening your phone. Is this option available on the 8600?

When I get a notification that a new txt message has arrived, I can't figure out how to display it on the front screen......what button do you press?

when using bitpim to put ringers on the phone, is it the same way like the 8100 and 8300? If not can someone please tell me how it is done.

you press the vol button to unlock the phone, then press the play/pause button on the front of the phone...
