Orriginal Battery NO GOOD?

Ho! Am I reading this correctly that my phone activated by Verizon when I purchased it has a battery that is at and will not be fully charged from now on? Is it safe to assume from the comments by some of you that in order to get the full capacity and usage from the battery I would have to purchase a new one, put it into my phone with the power off and recharge it from there?

Right now with the battery that the phone came with I have at least 3 days on standby before it goes to two bars then two more days then it's yellow with one bar. Is this the norm? Sorry so much questions but I just picked this phone up and while I just started to play with it, it's way better then my Razor.

How new is your phone? Sometimes, it takes a while for a new battery to hold a good charge.

My son and I both got VX8600s at the same time about a week ago. I haven't had any problems with the battery, but my son's battery doesn't seem to hold a charge very well. The VZW rep wasn't very helpful and said my son's experience was normal and that the battery is OK. Maybe there was a bad lot of batteries.
