I'm just wondering here, What types of cases do we all have for our enV's? Does anyone have those Synthetic rubber cases at all? I've got tht black genuine leather pouch direct from LG.

Well, I have one of those soft silicone rubber cases they sell at VZW,

but I only really use it if I know I am going to handle my phone near water (washing car, snowboarding, by a pool, etc...).
I also have one of the hard snap-on cases that they make for the phone,

but I rarely use that one at all. I think it makes the phone way too bulky. I usually only use that case If I know I am going to need to protect the phone from falls (skateboarding, Mt. biking, etc...).
I don't have any leather case at all, or the invisible shield. But, I do always have a clear screen-protector over the front and internal screens...

Ashaneen, once again thank you soo much for commenting! In my Advertising class, one of the kids has a brand new iPhone 😈 with a synthetic rubber case on his. I mean it looks nice. What do you think of yours? Do you have any way of clipping it onto your belt at all because that would be essential for me. How's typing on the keyboard with the rubber over it? Easy or harder?

I had the original belt clip but i gave it away because i want to protect my enV and i've found with the 9800 clip the top part wore away the paint and aren't we trying to protect our phones here not ruin them? I mean sure my phone has 1 or 2 scratches unfortunately 😢 but hell, i can't help that. As for that hard plasic case, yeah I agree, way too bulky ...

I have had the silicone case for over 2 months now and like it. Good feel and it doesn't slip out of my hand. Grips your shirt pocket so it wont slide out when you bend over like I have done with out case. I got the clear one because the other ones were too difficult to see the key pad, even with the clear one it is sometimes hard to see.
Overall I like the case, bought from Verizon store.

Let me ask you something, how does it clip onto a belt or shirt pocket? For example, like if you accidentally drop the phone, it'll protect it from getting really scratched? NOt that i drop mine but stil... What aobut protecting the phone from your normal usual dust and stuff? Is it easy to type on both keypad and keyboard? That's what I'd be really concerned with? Is that the only type of case you own for your phone or do you own others?

The silicone case is the only one i have, I have always used the genuine Verizon leather cases for my phones 6000,7000, 8000, 8100 but dont make that for the env. No clip on the silicone and as far as dust goes it can sneak in so i wipe out case and wipe down phone daily.

I also would say go to the store and check one out, and see what I meen about the colored ones not being able to see keys clearly. Also its not bad typing with the case on.

Hey thanks dude. Trust me, this is definitely helpful! I am going to go to Verizon and finally check this out for myself. I mean like I said before, I do have the padded leather pouch from LG but no one can visually see my phone when it's on my belt. I'm not sure if that makes a difference to me yet but I'm always wanting to try something new if you know what i mean. Thanks for your response though!
