I read what you said to do. We have an ENV and an 8300 so that should be good, my question to you is, do you still have to pay the 10 or so dollars when you do it the way you said? Website says monthly feeand airtime.
Thanks Bob

You should be fine with an enV and an 8300. I'm going to assume you are using the 8300 as the parent device and the 9900 as the child device. ๐Ÿคจ
Yes, the $10/month is the charge for the service, and the airtime you are billed is for when you are actively using the service to find the location of the "child" handset. You will be charged airtime whether you are checking location using your 8300 handset or online. ๐Ÿ™„
Hope this helps!

Thanks alot Ashaneen, was going to use the 9900 as parent phone but if not possible will have to use 8300. Thanks again. Bob

Oh, don't get the wrong impression. You can use either as the Parent or Child Device. I was just under the impression that you wanted to use the enV as the child device. Sorry about that. ๐Ÿ™„
Yeah, use the enV as the parent device, it's probably a better bet because of the screen layout and ease of text input. ๐Ÿ˜
