you can do this by going into the store & they willupdate it for you.
the only thing though, they keep it over night sometimes.
also, they'll tell you that if your phone corrupts through a firmware update its not their fault.

You can go to the howad forums and find the lg download software used for flashing lg phones. You will also find all the instructions on how to do this there also. I must say it only takes about 20 min do flash most phones. The verizon guys take so long because of paperwork. Good Luck

Yeah, pretty much the only wait to get your phone updated it through the tech support. Usually, if you go during the day, they'll do it for you right on the spot and it usually only takes about half an hour or a bit more... I had my software update done and it was definitely worth it.

it lets you shave the defailt save option for pictrures to the card and doesn't reset itself when you shut down and re-start the phone, allows you to send high resolution 2 MP pictures, allowed the phone to hold 4 gigs worth of memory. It's nice.

yea but ive been having problems sending some 2MP pics... it seems if they are over 500KB, it doesnt work...

I just noticed that if i try to send a 600 KB file as a picture it says exceeds maximum file size. How interesting. However, for myself this does'nt happen and i don't really care all of my photos i send are under 500KB so It doesn't bother me. That's all I know. Sorry if this effects you though.
