Sharp Hiptop 3 / Sidekick 3

Hey, i got a sidekick a few days ago, and it was charging fine, but now i have to wiggle the tip around til the phone picks it up and the orange lite turns on. I tried new batteries and chargers and its niether. Now the battery went so low that the phone wont turn back on, and wen i get that orange lite to stay on, it doesnt charge? but the lite is still on? im lost, i need help asap!!
