Sidekick 2 vs. Sidekick 3
OK...please be honest. Should I pay all that money for a Sidekick 3 or settle for the Mr Cartoon version of Sidekick 2?

You should pay for the sidekick 3. First of all it uses the EDGE network which means that browsing is generally 2 to 3 times faster than the sidekick 2. It has an MP3 player, trackball instead of a scrolling bar, and bluetooth. It also has hard plastic buttons instead of cheap rubber ones. There are two springs that support the swivel of the screen instead of one.

I tried the sk3 and ended up keeping my sk2. Comparing the 2 units side by side the browsers were about equal in speed loading pages, the bluetooth is for the headset only and doesn't support data. I also noticed better battery life and reception with the sk2. For my money I would buy the sk2 off ebay and save a ton of money over the sk3. I have an ipod for tunes so the mp3 player isn't a factor in my decision.
