concerning the data plan and pricing

yeah i have a question also..

i have the lowest dataplan out there... the media bundle for about 9.99 a month

im gettin the 8525 on friday and i wanted to know do i really have to upgrade my plan to really use the WIFI capabilities.

I have a router and a modem at my place so im guessing i should be able to access the internet like how i access the internet with my laptop, without having to pay any fees to cingular that is.

"wi-fi" doesn't cost you diddly.........

It's like accessing you're wireless router from a laptop or pc with a wireless card in it.

If you go to a "HotSpot" (T-Mob) they will make you pay to access their wireless network, and also other "Pay" wireless networks, but you're own wireless router...........is yours....why would you be paying??????


MediaNet or Other content that is accessed via Edge/Gprs/UMTS(3G as it's sometimes called) all a routed via the phone & it's appropriate band.........

GSM is the Voice side of things.

So, you'd get charged to access MediaNet, Yahoo, Google or any other site you access via Edge/Gprs/UMTS....................if you don't have a plan in place.......
