BT earpiece anyone found a good one?
I have tried to use the Moto 700 and when I first pair it .. it works flawlessly but
if someone calls and I try to flip open the moto I seem to get it to work
weather I push the button on the moto .. or try and choose switch to head set .. seems to not want to connect
just figured if someone found a better set I would give it a try
oh I have a Plantronics 640 and it seemed to work good but mine doesnt last to long with it turned on .. and if I leave it off and then try power it on during a call its the same issue

I use the Plantronics Voyager 510 and it's probably the best one out there for the price. It's a little big in size compared to the 640 or any Moto BT but it works great. It pairs really easy, audio quality is great and it has the noise cancelling mic. I had the 640 before this one and it did not work for me. Then if you really want to splurge and want the best BT, check out Bang and Olufsen BT. You're probably looking at spending a little over 200 dollars.

The Plantronics 640 works really good .. I can leave it off and in the middle of a call turn the ear piece on and it will connect
I still havent been able to be in a call and get the moto to work
which sux cause the plantronics only has about 3hrs talk time and the moto 6
I guess ill just have to wait for more 2.0 versions to come out
at least thats what Im thinkin is the prob .. to be honest im not sure

I have a Moto 700 but the earpiece sits above my ear, not on my ear, rendering it very ineffective. So I did a lot of research into headsets a few weeks ago - Cardo, Platronics, Jabra, Tekkeon, etc. - and came to the conclusion the "perfect" one hasn't been developed yet. Either it isn't stable or durable or it lacks wind noise reduction (DSP is not a satisfactory substitie, IMO) or it is difficlt to use.
Someone suggested the B & O, I haven't looked at that one yet, but will.
So, I think you're right, we need to wait for more 2.0 headsets to become available, I think it's just too difficult to recoup development costs to encourage headset makers to bring new models out.
