Help - 8525 or Blackjack ?

I've spent the last few days researching the Cingular 8525 and had finally decided to get it, despite the painful price tag. Then I log on today and see the Blackjack and I'm back to mass indecisiveness again.
The major differences (besides $200) that I see are:
8525 has Wi-Fi
Blackjack is thinner and lighter
8525 has bigger screen
8525 has better camera
Unfortunately the local Cingular stores do not have the 8525 in yet so I can't go in and look in person and handle them. Does anyone have any experience with comparing them.
I know, I'm obsessing, and it's killing my work productivity today.

I have not compared them except to note one large difference. One of the basic things I've learned lately as a wannabe is the difference between a Pocket PC (the 8525) and a Smartphone (Blackjack). You are exactly right, the main factor is that the Blackjack is running a broken/slimmed down version of the PocketPC OS, therefore limiting your options.
Go with the 8525...unless your in San Antonio, then get the Blackjack so maybe I can find an 8525 😁

There are a ,ot of functional differences between a PPC and a Smartphone, however if you don't plan to use a PPC phone to its full extent it is a waste of time and money to invest in. Smartphones have some advantages over PPC phones such as smaller size and weight, profiles, faster navigation since no stylus, good battery life, sharper screens, easier to learn, etc.
I own both and love both for what they each do and do well. If you are a mobile professional either can do but a power user will gravitate towards the PPC phone. More casual users will take the Smartphone which easily can satisfy most users.
Try both out. You have 30 days to return any phone. Run them through the ringer and see what turns your crank the most.
