☹️ A huge disappointment.
Microsoft Voice Command will not work with this phone over bluetooth headsets. MS and HTC will not patch this problem any time soon or at all.

MS is basically saying it is impossible to fix.
This is a key feature for anyone who wants to use this large phone while driving!

Do not buy this phone if you plan on driving and using it. Get one that is Compatible with Voice Command or which comes with its own Voice software (Blackberry Pearl)

You can try some registry change and hacks but you will never get this phone working 100% correctly.
Huge delays and Nothing will be announced over Bluetooth, it will come through the phones speaker.

Are you kidding me? Its going to have built in GPS? See that would make it easier to use with Windows Live because my BT GPS receiver will not work with Live Search at all...

I have the unlocked TyTN and the Sony Ericsson BT HBH-DS970 and voice dialing works fine. Is that the same as the voice command your talking about?

No I am talking about using a bluetooth headset with Microsoft Voice Command.

It is a much better program than the one which is included with the phone.

I now know that it is different. However, according to handango.com Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 does work with BT. Check out the program description;

New! Bluetooth hands free control: Bluetooth hands free control enhances your hands free eyes free experience and adds privacy to your spoken notifications. Now you can initiate a Voice Command interaction using a Bluetooth headset and some Hands free car kits*. You can also receive spoken notifications in a whisper mode through the Bluetooth headset keeping you privately up to date.

Hope this helps.

What more can you tell us about the built in GPS, will it be identical to how Verizon does it or different? Will it still be with TeleNav?
