F@%K Motorola 🤣

LG has won me back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great feel/ solid build quality
Great UI
Loud earpiece
Nice keypad
Crystal clear calls better then my V325, and E815.

Everything great that has been mentioned is dead on in my book, I'm happy

gunny...I got the Moto V325 in February and it was a big improvement over my previous VX4400..I am now considering upgrading to the VX8300. I am not into all that music stuff, but just want a phone with good RF and a good megapixel camera. Is the VX 8300 really that mush better than the Moto V325?

yes it is, I noticed a huge difference, big time and was happily surprised of the outcome. the 325 is a good phone, the LG 8300 is OUTSTANDING. TRY IT you won't regret it. 🙂

Also, I like being able to use the speakerphone on my Moto V325 with the clam shut..I understand that this is not possible on the VX8300...and the stub antenna limits the RF capability...would this really be an upgrade or more of a sideways waffling?

So I take it that you like this one and it far outperforms your Old RAZR?

yes it blows the RAZR away, I'm keeping it 🙂 I have been buying moto since the 6100 let me down, the 8300 is a great phone stub antenna and all.

Okay, I have been putting this into perspective. It seems the posters on this site are what one could call "phone fanatics." Put simply, I do not give a dog about playing music on my phone or having some weird ringtone. I just want a phone that gives reliable service (excellent RF), has a good camera, and has a good speakerphone that will work with the clam closed. The rest is useless fluff that just complicates matters. That stub antenna on the VX8300 is really a major negative factor; why in the world would LG do that? Their signal is weak to begin with; they need all the help they can get in the RF area.

The reception on this phones is amazing what others are saying is very true it doesnt matter how many bars you have the reception is crystal clear I have had two of these for the past 3 days with no dropped calls and no static anywhere I was the sound quality is amazing. Camera is decent it is a phone! not a camera it is probably as good as it gets without going to the samsung 970 which is 2 megapixels this is 1.3. You cannot however use speakerphone with the phone closed I was disapointed too I had a motorola v400 prior that I used this feature alot but it is no big deal this phone is amzaing!!!!!!!!!! You will not be disapointed!!! 🙂

You need to try the phone for yourself; I did have reserves about buying this...

I don't write that often but when I do I must really have something to say. I would try exchanging it first I work at a store and I know the RF and sound capabilities of these phones and comparitively to the other phones we carry I was actually pleasently surprised that this phone did so well. It definitely increases strength over the 8100 and gives the E815 a good fight for signal dominance so try a different one and if you aren't satisfied then take it back.

I would also try another. I did and I'm quite happy with the second one. I had problems with how people heard me on the first but not on the replacement.

Either that or just wait for some more to come out. There is certainly nothing even close to the 8300 on Verizon right now.

You scared the heck out of me with the term bad.
I know it means good but I was just making up my mind to buy it tomorrow (after lurking at the Verizon Store today) and saw this post.
Whew! Glad you are still liking it.

I love my 8300 so far. Wish my transflash card was here though. Oh and i wish i could get my contacts list off my 8100 on here. I could manually do it though before i even got up to the CS desk for verizon to even see if they could swap it.
