Voice commands can only be activated via side button?
Anyone,
I've just purchased a VX-8300. My old VX-6100 had a "Driving Mode," and I used to leave the phone permanently set that way. It allowed me to initiate a phone call while driving simply by opening the flip, which caused the phone to enter Voice Command mode immediately.
Now, unless I'm mistaken, the only way I can get the 8300 to accept voice commands while driving is for me to locate and press the side button, which is pretty awful. Am I missing something? Is there another way?

im pretty sure you can change it in the menus to go to voice command when you open the phone

How? I went through the menus and could not find a way to do that. Did I miss something?

I could have sworn I saw it before, but after double checking I guess I was wrong. Maybe that was my old phone (VX-8000). Sorry
