Verizon will be getting the pantech pn-820 in February. It is much better then the other flip smartphones out now. http://legacy.macnn.com/articles/06/11/20/pan tech.pn.820.for.verizon/

Wow, that phone seriously looks terrible. In fact, of the (very few) features mentioned on the page I read about the phone (sorry, your link didn't have the story anymore), the only thing that looked interesting was wi-fi support, which the author said they weren't even sure about (if it would make it into the phone).

Additionally, aren't Pantech the ones that make those stupid little phones that are the size of a MiniDV cassette tape? I hate those things.

Sorry, HTC blows Pantech out of the water. I talk on my phone about 30 minutes a day and use apps for about another 30 minutes, and I only have to charge my phone once a week.

Better luck next time Pantech/Verizon. ;)

Well, the Pantech has one feature that the HTC flip lacks and that's 3G data via EVDO. I don't care how much better looking the HTC phone might be . . . if you are crawling along with EDGE speed it doesn't mean a thing!

Other than the fact that the Bluetooth OBEX isn't crippled on the 3125 like it is on the 820, the 820 may just pull ahead. The 3125 is a slick looking phone, but looks aren't everything.
