Does this have auto time set?
This phone looks promising but I've found that not all phones automatically update the time. (I've had a Samson and a SE that both required manual time setting.) That is so annoying and I won't get this one if it has similar issue with the time. Thanks.

MWI is message waiting indicator. The outer display flashes for a while, then the screensaver comes on and shows the icon for a message waiting. It really lets you know you have a message waiting.
