Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133
MMS Mesages
I have cingular and I have been able to set the MMS settings and internet. The only problem is I can't recieve a video message. I can recieve pictures though. Any thoughts? Software issue? Oh I am using the 6131. The person sending me the video messages using t-mobles network (phone model w300i)

Make sure your phone is set to retrieve MMS messages. Go to menu>messages>message settings>allow mutimedia recept=yes>imcoming multim. mesgs=retrieve. I had to do this to be able to send and receive MMS. It was turned off by default.

thats not the issue. I can recieve pictures. I can send pictures and video. I just cant the videos that are sent to me. I get an error message.

I had the same problem. The phone has to be set to receive MMS. Have you tried my suggestions?

yes I have. I can recieve MMS, I get pictures fine. It is the videos I can't recive. I get a message that says "MMS adapitation has removed some or all of the message" Or something similar to that. Never had a problem like this with an unlocked phone and I have had a lot of them (mostly motorola's) and they have all worked fine. Oh well, I think it's a software problem. I called NokiaUSA and they said it happens sometimes with unlocked phones and didn't offer any other suggestions.

do you have memory left in the phone to download a video file? maybe try to clear up some memory.
