Greatest Phone Ever???
This phone looks so HOT! I have been using my Nokia 6560 with my TDMA National account for a few years now, and am just waiting for a new phone to make me switch to GSM.
Does anybody know when Cingular will be getting this phone, and for how much?

The only information is rumors at this point. on HoFo, some people that "know" say late June or July. Cingular typically launches and/or runs sales during holidays and July 4 could be likely. However, most of us know that Cingular and its suppliers can let things slip for 6 months or more.
Price - who knows but I'd guess less than when the RAZR came out at $400 (w/2-yr).
The only thing that worries me about this handset after looking at the hi-rez pics Nokia has on their site is the hinge- it looks plastic. That means creaking, squeaking noises and breakage from normal use unlike the RAZR and Blade that are metal.

Our Nokia rep was in the store today and she had one with her.
It looks very nice. The shell is plastic, but does not look cheap at all. A very nice fit in the hand, the screen was nice, snappy through the menu. Overall, another great Nokia.

Do you know if this is going to be available for Cingular? The plastic shell is similar to the 6102, which is a good phone. As long as it's a quality phone with good functionality and reception, the plastic does not bother me at all. I think most phones are plastic/composite material anyway.

the shell feels better than the 6102, actually this phone is a lot better than the 6102 lol. the battery cover is like soft leather like feel which makes the phone have better grip. i think the front of the phone is soft too not plastic. i just bought one from ebay i'll problly give a small review once the review part is open.

Except you overpaid. They are now on Ebay for $335 shipped, and I found another place where it's $299 shipped from Australia. I'll post the links if anyone wants.
