Samsung SGH-D807 / D806
email client
I used to have a Sony Ericsson S710a that had an email client that would check for new emails every 5 minutes. But because of poor reception (my LG C1300 got better reception) I took it back and bought an unlocked Moto V635. But on the Moto, it will only check for new emails every 30 minutes. That's a pain. So much so that I don't use the feature. How often with the Samsung D807 check for new emails? I use Gmail and Yahoo email (the free one), if that matters.

When I first had the email notification turned on, it seemed like anytime I recieved a new email, the phone would display this. I also have gmail, and have not yet found a way to add it to the list of client email service.
