Cant send sound clips in text. unsupported attcahment??

i use win amp to to add the tag, and then i change it from mp3 to .mid by simply changing the file name. Ringtones work fine, but it wont let me send any sound in a text message, i always get "unsupported attachment"

can any one help me?

dude i have no clue how to fix this! samsung sucks my left nut. im going back to LG!
