Does the video camera stay on if you close the clamshell on the 930? The dealers that have it functional don't really know, and when I try it at the Verizon stores, the camera shuts off when I close the clamshell. Can anyone out there help me? I think the rotating camera wheel is great but I don't understand the purpose if the video camera shuts off when the phone is closed.

It shuts off when it's closed. This is because there's no real outside screen for you to view what is being captured.
