I would like to get this phone, however I want to wait for the dual mode CDMA/iden phone that is rumored to come out later this year. Can't see spending the money now when CDMA is much better for voice calls.

i cant really mention the details; but i have seen the phones and the descriptions and i got to say i am impressed with motorola. (woops)

So... if I jump over to Nextel in August should I get a handset to just "get by" until late '06 or early '07 when some of these new ones become avaiilable?

The only thing that would be nice about the CDMA/iDEN pone would be the phones ability to then roam....wich is not possible with an iDEN only unit. This would give Sprint/Nextel a much larger (and needed) coverage erea.
