How To Get V3i to Be Able To Browse Online Tutorial (Cingular)
This tutorial is for everyone who bought an unlocked and unbranded Motorola V3i.
Your phone is "Unbranded" meaning it does not have the Cingular flex, like Media Net and all their splash screens and pre-loaded themes, which in my opinion is better.
But it seems everyone expects that their unbranded V3i should be able to access the Media Net home page, it can't unless you flex your phone to Cingular once the flex becomes available.
This does not mean you cannot utilize the internet on your phone, you can. you can even make it browse better than the Media Net flex. Here is how...

What is the install code??
I get the browser message..it only says "updates required." Then, one softkey has "INSTALL"..I click it and it asks for a passcode. I tried all the phone default pass codes but they didn't work.
The website doesn't have any info on passcodes either..it just askes for phone type and number.

I think your method will probably work, but i can't even get started. When i go to the page you are talking about, it asks me for a username and password. I don't have one, and if I do I don't know what it is. Can you help???
