you know like in Sony Ericsson's Wseries where ur only using it as a mp3 player and nothing else so battery lasts longer?

You may be referring to the the Sony Ericsson
MP3 software, which is labeled as such
due to the fact that Sony owns the
"Walkman" name and can use it as a well known
description. However Motorola's affiliation at this time is with Apple and iTunes.
As far as I can tell any MP3 WMA ect. can be converted easily the only difference would be the copyright and if required.
