We've been telling people that the RAZR V3i will be released in March or April. Cingular may delay the release, however, to rid itself of some of the stock it has of the old RAZRs. The promotions that you're seeing for the RAZR at $49.99 amounts to, essentially, a dump of these phones. They're losing money on most of those transactions, but less money than they would if the phones sat in a stock room while they were being replaced by new tech.
