Re-Pairing a Bluetooth Headset is Failing

I have the a900 with the Plantronics 610 headset, and it was working just fine. Then I had to get my phone swapped for a new one under warranty due to a problem with my microphone. Now that I have the new a900... it can't find the same Plantronics headset that worked instantly with the old phone!

I do it just as both manuals explain. I bring up the a900 to the bluetooth screen and choose "Add New," then I turn on the headset, it flashes a few times, and I hit "Search" on the phone. But it comes back with "Cannot locate device." I've tried a thousand times, I've power cycled the phone, removed the battery and replaced it, no idea what could be wrong.

Any ideas?

Look and see if the headset has a reset button.

Nevermind! I got it. The Plantronics Knowledge Base was much clearer than their manual was. The trick was holding down the button until it had a specific flashing pattern, then it would be in discovery mode. Guess I accidentally did it right on the previous phone.

Working now though.

Not too thrilled with its quality while the phone's in my pocket, still.
