Anyone having issues with short range using a bluetooth headset?
I am using an HS-850 and it breaks up and gets static if I have it more than about 2 feet from my phone! If I hold the phone at arms length it breaks up?
Is that normal?
Is it a problem with the headset?
For the most part they have gotten good reviews.

get the software upgrade and it will go about 20 feet from the phone and no break up or static.

Same problem...Got the software upgrade, no changes.
Talked to Samsung, and level 2 techinician told me that unless your headset is class 1 like the phone, its not going to work reliably.
All Motorola headsets are class 2 devices with very low power

yes, but moto hedsets will not work correctly.
