can someone tell me a good mp3 to 3gp conversion program, and where to find it...for free hopefully. i found a couple on downloads.com, but the sound quality went to hell when i put the 3gp file on my phone. i could use them as ringtones, but they sounded so horrible. is this just what 3gp sounds like, does anyone else have this problem? any help, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated in figuring out what could be a really kick ass phone.

3gp is actually a format for video. The sound quality would obviously go down because 3gp usually compresses audio and video data into the file.
