UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache
XV-6700 Bluetooth Turns Off
My husband and I both have an XV-6700. The Bluetooth keeps turning off on my phone. It does NOT happen to my husband. I have talked to Verizon Tech's and to the manufacturer, but no one knows why this is happening.
I shop alot and go in and out of stores and I have a theory that alarm systems in certain stores cause this to happen but can't narrow it down. (My husband doesn't agree with me.)
I really want this problem resolved. We have tried soft resets and even a hard reset but the problem continues.

I beleive this was an issue on the inital version of software. Have you installed the latest s/w for the phone?

I've had the phone for a little over a month and noticed the same problem. I have the Jabra BT150 and it turns off often. It seems to occur most when I am around anything that can emit RF interference; Flourescent lights, TV's, High Tension Wires, etc.
I've been thinking about switching to another brand of Bluetooth device like, Nokia or Motorola to see if it's just the headset.
