hi i just started service with sprint again after a horrible time with tmobile. I love the samsung a920. I have 2 co workers with the same phone. one said I could buy the $15 powervision plan and use my phone as a modem. He claims with the software or manuely dialing up he doesnt have to get a different plan. The other coworker says that if I use the phoen that way I will either not be able to connect or will haveto pay a very high PPU cost. which perosn is corrent. Anyone elese out there tried this?

Hello 😉

In oreder to use the phone as a modem you will need to have phone as a modem atachable on your account it cost around 39.99 per month if you have a primary voice plan and it includes unlimited data adverage speeds are around 200kb-2mb ok on to the more techie stuff

1. need to have PAM BASIC SERVICE on the account

2. download the sprint conection manager (includes all the drivers for the phone )

3. if the sprint connection manager works for you great if not creat a dial up conection use #777 as the phone number no username or password must use the samsung cdma modem as the connection device tho.

4. enjoy the internet.
