Dead Phone
I was using the 8125, in warned me of a low battery, I continued and it shut itself down. Now after charging it for several hours with the little red light at the top phone illuminated, it will not turn on. Any ideas anyone?
I am wondering if it's the battery or phone related.

are you holding the button down at the top for at least 5 seconds?
Take the battery and sim out and wait 20 secs then put them back in and try to boot.
Soft reset device button on side and see if that triggers anything.

Did the Sim and battery pull out. Have held the top button for 5, 10, 15 + 20 seconds... nothing.
Saw on other forums this type of thing is happening a lot with batteries going bad on this phone.
Do you know if this thing can run on a charger or does the charger only charge the battery?
If it does run on a wall charger then my phone is fried.

i called my brother because he had an issue with his 8125 and he said a new battery did the trick. Also are you charging via wall charger or data cable? I know my brother always charged via wall charger and had issues where I charge via data cable and have never had a problem.
