everytime i send a text message it tells me that the message has been sent immediately after and when i have it on vibrate it vibrates for like 5 seconds even after i his "dismiss". this sucks when ur in class. DOes anyone kno how to turn this off without turning off the notification for a new text message?

There might be a way to do it in the registry but not an easy way through notifications or anything like that.

That same thing drives me crazy but I got a way

1. start
settings
sounds & notifications
the tab for notifications
drop down for new text message
uncheck play sound
check vibrate
click ok

2. turn down device sound all the way but
not to vibrate

this will stop the vibrate on messages sent but not received 😎

let me know if you need anything else!!!

I just got the MDA a few days ago and every time i send a text msg i get a notice it was sent. This would be fine and even nice if the phone did not viabrate for 5 seconds every time. How do i turn of the notification or atleast the viabration."

The reason why I added the link is because you may have more questions so there are more post to that thread
